My baby finally come home!

I finally got to go pic up Romeo (Severe Macaw baby) last night. He talked to me the whole way home. He keep saying hello & I love you. It was so cute. He felt right at home when he got here cause I have been visting him every week for a month or so. That way he would know me. I played with him for about an hour lastnight but it was after midnight so I figured he better get some sleep. He didn't agree. As soon as I put him in his cage & turned out the light, he screamed "HEY". So I turned the light back on & he screamed "HELLO, LUV U". It was so funny. This morning he is watching everything I'm doing. Bonita was so excited last night when I got home. She wanted to see what the new baby was but he didn't want to see her. I was shocked. I figured it would be the other way around. I stood in front of her cage & he just flaired his wings out & tried to bite her. That was the end of that meeting. This morning Bonita keeps watching him. She wants to see him so bad but I don't want any accidents so i don't think so. I'll get a pic in a min & try to post it. Crystal

more photos. As you can see, he's a snuggler. He was so comfortable earlier, he got mad when I had to get up. My conure is so jealous of him, she bit the crap outta me. She made me bleed. It was cause he come on the sofa and was eating froot loops with us. SInce she couldn't bite him, I was the next best thing.

Careful with your conure, your two birds have a great size difference! I once had to rehome a sun because she was trying to eat my scarlet macaw for lunch.... I knew how that scenario would pan out!!

She (the sun conure) is now in a home with one other bird and has to be kept in a different room. When she is, she's pleased as punch, when she can see the other bird she is a little terror with jealous rage. They are selfish little buggars when it comes to sharing attention!! Good luck!
