Some baby pics
I handfed out a couple of babies this past summer...one of them was a B&G male (hatch date May 18, 2006) and the other was a female Ruby macaw (hatch date April 30, 2006)...here's a few pics from along the way...
This is the ruby...I think she was around six or seven weeks old at this point...she slept on her back at that time...should have got a pic of it but I didn't...she was so adorable...and still is...  Here's the B&G baby...I knew by the shape of that big ol' noggin of his that he was a male, the DNA test later confirmed that...I think he was around four weeks old at this point in time...boy, you could hear him honking a mile away as soon as you starting mixing up the formula...  So adorable...  The messmakers...  The ruby...couldn't keep her in that basket...she wanted to gobble up everybody's food...  Here's the B&G again as a baby...he was such a sweetie...  A few pics of them outside on a summer day...   Just look at the blue color on the B&G...that's how he got nicknamed *Blue*...  The ruby out behind the house just about a week ago...   That's all for now folks...hope ya enjoyed the pics...

I love the pictures. they are both beautiful babies. are you keeping both ? I have never ( that I know of ) seen a Ruby .
