Introduction

hello, I'm new at this board. It is really nice. You can read a short introduction of me -> http://birdboard.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38313

All my macaws are adopted. I 'm the slave of 5 Gold & Blue, of 1 Chloroptera, 0f 2 Hahns and of 2 African grey.

My birds live in an outside aviary. My "babys" are allowed to fly free. At the moment I have a baby, 15 days old. Its really nice, but it is dangerous to feed them or to clean their room.

I hope to get a lot of good ideas, because the macaw community is greater than in Germany.

May I ask for your support ? I wirte an article for a german parrot magazine. The content is about Hybrid macaws. In germany I cannot found any information and I will try it here. I need good pictures in a high resolution of all kind of Hybrid macaws. ( Buffon, harlekin, Camelot and so on... ) If you have some for me and if you can give the permission to print them in a german magazine and at my webside, it would be wonderful.

Please sent them to my Email Address papageien-hilfe@gmx.de

Oh, some pictures more than in the introduction ?

18 Month old

Hi there! Grandma (that's her handle) is the best one to talk to about hybrids...she's got one great page in the bottom of her signature that will help you with that.

You birds are gorgeous...love that cute b&g

The costs are the same. A hollow tree trunk sosts 110$ an a cave costs 100$. But you a lot more work to clean it before you can use it.
