How does the theory go on macaw eyes as far as age. A little white around the outside meaning young and more white meaning older. Is this true or do I have it mixed up. Thanks

When the coloring around the eyes is white, it means it's fully matured.

Here is my bird at 5 months I picked him up in October when he was 4 months old. Does his eyes look right for his age ? He is now 1 year old and they are more white now. Thanks

Yes you are correct. The eyes tend to get darker (or is that lighter? with white?) as they mature. He's a gorgeous hybrid even if he hardly looks it!
