B&G or miligold???

I took my rehomed macaw for a general health check up today. The vet said that my B&G could be a miligold. What do you guys think?

Hmmm it could be? That is a fair bit of green for a B&G so it may well be a miligold.

There is a whole lot of green on the upper part of his chest for a B&G. . . .hybrids are so tricky---even siblings will look nothing a like. Then again, he could be a B&G with a green birthmark. My ekkie has yellow where she isn't supposed to.

thank you for rehoming, by the way.

I would say milligold, he just must have gotten a dominant (?) B&G gene. And totally precious!

Is there a weight or length difference between miligolds and B&Gs? Maybe that can help you out.

He's gorgeous, whatever he is!
