I bet the feathers had grown to a length such that there ends were pressing against the fabric and being moved and pressed back into him in an irritating manner when he moved or sat.

You need somehting that supports him so the feathers dont get pressed. But nto sure how you could do that. Not seeing him makes suggestions difficult.

yeah it sucks not having morgan be back to himself and i just feel awful for watching him go through this and morgan had a good length of tail feather stubs growing and well when his diaper is off of him thats when they break cause he leans back on them i just wish i could go through time and be there to catch him and not have him go trhough this pain and it sucks i can see it in his eyes he misses going outside on his playstand and sit in the sun and dance and walk to his perch and climb up i just wonder by me saving him did i really save him or did i make him suffer well i am just going through a really rough patch with him and i cry everytime i see another macaw dancing like morgan used to or climbing up my leg its sad that i am upset and feeling this way

Have you seen the new doggie diapers that have an elastic hole where the tail goes??
