Woo Hoo!!!! She's Finally Coming Home!!!!!!

My new baby (see pic in signature) Hannah is coming home!!!!! I just got back from visiting her and she is finally weened!

It has been a long month and a half, especially since we have had CJ our CAG here(my wife's bird)for the last month, don't get me wrong I love CJ(but he don't love me lol) but I have been Pining for Hannah seeing as I have been visiting her every weekend for the last two months.

I think I am going to pick her up next Saturday(gonna schedule a well bird check up with my avian vet)
I have never had a bird as large as a Macaw but I feel ready for her, although she doesn't seem that big to me any more like when I first got introduced to her. She is still rather attached to her current caregiver and she won't let me scritch her or anything like that but I am sure when she gets away from him then she will open up with me.
I am getting her from the same person that we got CJ from, so I don't think quarantining is going to be an issue, seeing as he has not been around other birds other then the ones that he has been around at his house, wich is where CJ came from. and the good news is the fact that CJ knows Hannah pretty well already and he gets along with her pretty good, actually I think he misses her and I think the reunion will do them both good

I know you seem pretty set in your ways... but I think you SHOULD quarantine, something could have infected the breeders birds after you got your CAG.

how old is she? im waiting for a baby macawand cant wait.The breeder said its usually4-6monthsbut that her longest was 9 months eek
