Unhappy i am worried

i got morgan from his cage for his soak/bath but i noticed a small lump right near his poop hole or vent and well its looks like a bubble and well i was wondering has anyones macaw had this before and how did you get rid of it
it isnt red or hot its just there and well its kinda squishy i can show you along with some new pics of me and morgan the lump is opposite of my thumb

In DOGS somehting like this is usually due to an impacted anal gland where it is clogged and hormone fluid builds up.

I dont know what it is in birds.

I would see an AVIAN vet ASAP.

it has gone down with some heat then ice packs it might just be a ingrown feather but he is going for an all around check up this saturday so i will keep you posted morgan has gotten this in the same spot but i keep watching it and i am def going to the vet this weekend and that way i will know about his feathers growing and his weight and his motor skills how all of it is going

i talked to the vets assistant on the phone and she said it could be caused by the constant rubbing of him sitting on his tail stub and also we are gonna find out about his feathers growing so i will post details of the appointment as soon as i get done saturday after 10am
