good news i think?

i found out on a whim (sundance pooped what i thought was blood but it wasnt) sunny had a bacteria infection with 65% neg gram, and 35% positive, gw macaw weighing in at 2lbs, luckily it was caught in time. i never would have even known he was sick, my god.

he was given orbax and just got the last of the meds yesterday, i have also been giving him some kind of vitamins with lacobacillis in it, (i have been given all the birds this)

yesterday i weighed him and he was at 2.4lbs. so he is putting on weight again. i believe this is a good indicator that the infection is going away? i gotta get another gram stain test done which is $40. so im gonna do that in the next few days or so, let the meds really take affect.

how do you even know your bird is sick? my instincts were bugging me, i do work as psychic amungst other things, i kinda had a feeling. i guess i should watch weights huh?? skye is over 3lbs s that made me wonder too when sunny weighed in around 2lbs. skye is the bg.
