It's final on the GW

Hello all,
I just wanted to let everyone know what I desided to do on getting the Baby GW, My Condo Board and Managment advised that they don't see any reason for me not to purchase the GW. I have talked to some Neighbors as I see them to let them know what I have desided to do and that is to purchase the baby. They all gave me support and are behind me. I know the risks, I have 2 back up plans. My Breeder is really great and wants me to give it try, She stated that if i purchase her Baby GW and things do not work out, she will give my Money back in full $1795.00, or purchase another Eclectus at a cost of $1095.00 and pay me the difference. Or I will sell my Condo and move into my shore home. I love to spend summers there but it is far from work. I work from home everyother day, so being home, i can really spend quality time bonding and teaching the Baby GW as I have with my SI Male Eclectus ( Guapo ). I will be going to my Baltimore Bird Fanciers meeting this weekend to see the 2 ladies who have mature GW who never yell, or utter a word, they were both rescue to advise them on what I desided to do and to ask for advise. So if you have advise for me or just to tell me I'm crazy, LoL, I am all ears. look forward to your comments and advise. Thanks JJones1719

Congratulations. It sounds like everything is working out well for you. If I were ever to get one of the large birds the Greenwing would be my first choice. They might be the most beautiful bird I have ever seen (well besides a little ten month Hahns Macaw I know). You have several good sounding back-up plans but somehow I think you would be more likely to move out of the Condo and opt for the longer commute. That's just a guess. Hopefully it won't be an issue. The few Greenwings I have come into contact with are fairly quiet. I would think the Ecletus might be noisier. Good luck and Congratulations. I admit that I'm just a little jealous.

Thank you to all,
I really can't wait until my GW comes home with me. I'm traveling to VA in 2 weeks to take visit the GW to start the bonding. I have 2 GW to select from. Both hatched on April fool's day, LoL, think they are telling me something. I'll be taking some pictures and videos of them to share with all of you. I know how cute they can be at only 5 weeks old. I'll try to visit as much as possible and my Breeder advised that she is taking them from the mother and father today to start the hand feeding and to gain the trust of Humans. She will also send me pictures via E-Mail on Monday so I too will share them with you so you too can watch them grow and advise. I will let you too help me pick out the best one although i'm sure both are great. I don't know if you ever seen a mutant Male eclectus before or not, but my Breeder has one pair of Breeder eclectus who produce an all Blue or light blue Eclectus. She charges $30,000.00 for them and her pair produce at least one per clutch. Here is her website ( Mountain Ridge Aviary ~ Mount Solon, Virginia ). so check it out. well, thanks again and will talk to you soon. JJones1719
