You just made a sale for my local bird store. I have debated buying a boing or not. I think Davey needs it. I'll have him watch the video too.

Davey is afraid of his new Boing. It is hanging in his cage and it took all I could do to get him in his cage and past it. He is generally fearless but lately he has displayed fear at his harness too. I don't know whether to leave his boing in his cage so he gets used to it or take it out since it scares him. He wasn't afraid of his tent when I put it in his cage a couple of weeks ago so it's not that he doesn't like change.
From everything I've read I expect this type of behavior when I get Bing but I didn't think Dave would start this craziness. It just goes to show you can't pigeonhole them when it comes to different behaviors.

I would hang it onto the side of his cage or place it nearby his cage so that he can see it but it's not right with him, then put it in later when it is no longer the Bird Eating Boing.

I'm the first one to admit that I'm neurotic but between the scary harness and now the scary boing I'm starting to think I'm rubbing off on the bird. I thought these little macaws were fearless. The one thing he is not afraid of is me!
