ok have a queston I am off every weekend well when I had memorial day off that was more time to spoil sidney, ok great well I cleaned his cage and move it just a tad across the room and left it there, sidney screamed fussed for I dont know how long my husband told me remember the last time you left his cage like that he got mad ok went and moved it back ok he quit screaming quit fussing but now the problem is its 3 days later every time I try to handle him he has a attitude with me I mean biting snapping then when he snaps at me he says ow. I dont know if me being with him an extra day that now he expects or if he is still mad at me for moving his cage. sidney has never ever acted this way toward me before everyone else yes but not me

Seems like Macaw tantrum to me. I am constantly changing cages, position of cages ect.., it's good for them and I dont want them to get crotchity, I have elderly parents that are and not gonna have pets like that,

curiosity always gets the better of them, ever time. I open cage doors and sit in middle of birdroom floor putting toys together. Amazing the help I get with 4 of them.

I agree with hassel - I move them around often.

I move him around a good bit but if his cage is not in that certain spot he will scream until its put back and really thats the only time sid ever screams. when I am home he is never in the cage anyhow but on his play gym where we are at are in my lap. yeh he is very very clingy to me when hes not mad always wanting to be held. but I love my baby though.

sometimes over doing attention can cause real problems, we have in cage time and on weekends time is here and there, with end of school activites and pool open, birds know they will get affection when we have it to give.
