New Pictures of Bing and Davey

I got this new shot of Bing. It shows off what looks like spotted pajama bottoms. He is actually in a bird room that is a very good size but a lot of the birds are crowded into that one corner, Bing included. I don't want people to think he is living in substandard conditions. All of the birds have it quite good at this shop. He's the guy on the top. Unlike other Grey in the picture who is taking his time weaning, Bing is really starting to lose interest in his 'bottle'. That's not to say he isn't eating. The little guy eats like a horse.

I also have some new shots of Dave with a couple of his new toys. I don't want him to think Bing is getting all of my attention. That would just be setting myself up for trouble when Bing finally comes home and they have to start bonding.

I love the spotted PJ's. How cute is he... Also Davey is a very handsome boy, he looks like he is the boss of the house.

Davey is pretty sure he is the boss of the house. He might just be. I'm just there to feed and amuse him.

I've heard the pajamas will most likely be gone with the first molt. He has some red in his back feathers too. It will be interesting to see if all of it is gone later.

Wow, he has red on his back feathers too? When he molts them, put them in a ziploc baggie, so you can have those to remember this stage!

I wouldn't doubt that Bing will be ready to come home within a few weeks. They say he is weaning himself off of his bottle all on his own and doing it pretty quick. He is a very good eater. It seems he is the first at the dining bowl and the last to push himself away. He actually has some heft to him for a baby. For the sake of finances I was hoping he would take his time but no such luck. There is another grey in the shop who is three weeks older who doesn't want to give up his 'bottle' but Bing is blazing his own trail.
