Question why is he doing this & hueys feeding schedule

ok just a few days ago baby huey has been when i put him back in the cage either crawling up my arm to come back out or when im putting him back in he just clamps onto the nearest bar in the cage and tries to get out.....why why why. am i letting him out too much? im home all day. so i let him out throughout most of the day. also ive been cutting back on kissing him so much and letting him kiss me.....i think he is seriously mad at me.

im also having a huge problem with myself, im a very quiet peson. i dont talk much.....and i dont talk to baby huey much at all. i just stare into his eyes and scratch his lil head and he purrs. but i want him to be able to talk so what are the things i need to say to him? how do you really get a bird to talk?

also....about feeding...

i usually give him 20mL-35mL of kaytee extract baby bird formula around 9-10am.
then....

put him in his cage so he can drink some more water and give him his pellets which he has acess too all day

then i give him fruits. he really likes bananas, peaches, and grapes, also some strawberries.

around 2-3 i give him another round of formula.

then 4-5 i give him lima beans, lintels (cant spell) just assortment of beans and he loves broccoli and carrots. just lots of veggies.

then around 7-9 i give him another round of formaula

is this reasonable? or too much? when he eats its all in a nice small moderation. its not like he eats everything. so what do you think i could change or do to make his eating schedule better? or is it ok for now. he is only 4 months old. so im trying to introduce new foods almost everytime i go to the store. what else do you suggest for him to eat that he doesnt have to hold with his feet because of his disablity. help me out here guys! yall have been so great for me and baby huey yall are all like a big family.....thanks again guys.

How old is he. You say he is on three feeds a day (formula). He just doesnt want to go back in his cage and be alone (or so he feels) and that is completely natural for a Mac baby. Your going to have to teach him to "step down" out of the cage until he is doing it well with allot of positive reinforcement (aka, special treat for just that reason only) use something he really likes the most. Only give it to him after he has succesfully stepped down to the perch. After he does this very well begin to practice doing it into the cage but dont do it when he HAS to go back in and dont always leave him in. In out In Out and so on. And do it sometimes, have him step down into the cage, treat, praise, and walk away with the door open so he can play out on it if he wants.
He is learning now that everytime you put him in he has to stay and be alone. Make it a game so he doesnt think that playtime is always over when he goes into the cage.

As for the talking. Say the things to him you want him to say. Like instead of saying Hello Huey everyday - say Hello mommy or whatever and then thats what he will learn. Sounds silly but everything they learn is from you. Say things like Howdy stranger or I love you (without any name), Good morning, Im a good bird, ect ect. say them everyday
