ok just a few days ago baby huey has been when i put him back in the cage either crawling up my arm to come back out or when im putting him back in he just clamps onto the nearest bar in the cage and tries to get out.....why why why. am i letting him out too much? im home all day. so i let him out throughout most of the day. also ive been cutting back on kissing him so much and letting him kiss me.....i think he is seriously mad at me.
im also having a huge problem with myself, im a very quiet peson. i dont talk much.....and i dont talk to baby huey much at all. i just stare into his eyes and scratch his lil head and he purrs. but i want him to be able to talk so what are the things i need to say to him? how do you really get a bird to talk? also....about feeding... i usually give him 20mL-35mL of kaytee extract baby bird formula around 9-10am. then.... put him in his cage so he can drink some more water and give him his pellets which he has acess too all day then i give him fruits. he really likes bananas, peaches, and grapes, also some strawberries. around 2-3 i give him another round of formula. then 4-5 i give him lima beans, lintels (cant spell) just assortment of beans and he loves broccoli and carrots. just lots of veggies. then around 7-9 i give him another round of formaula is this reasonable? or too much? when he eats its all in a nice small moderation. its not like he eats everything. so what do you think i could change or do to make his eating schedule better? or is it ok for now. he is only 4 months old. so im trying to introduce new foods almost everytime i go to the store. what else do you suggest for him to eat that he doesnt have to hold with his feet because of his disablity. help me out here guys! yall have been so great for me and baby huey yall are all like a big family.....thanks again guys.
