Thanks for the complement on Alf's Picture.

I did a lot of research and talking to other bird owners before choosing a Hahn's and I have been delighted with my choice. My life is definitely fuller because of it.

Alf is one of the sweetest birds I have ever met. Extremely playful she tires me out just watching her when she is playing with her toys. She like our play time together but also enjoys what I call "her time" when she plays alone on /in her cage or on the play gym.

She loves being petted and I am able to touch her all over. I actually clip her wings by putting her on a perch and lifting her wings out, one at a time, and clipping them. She just looks up at me like she is asking "what the heck are you doing". I have never had a bird that I could do that to.

She loves to cuddle and each morning she spends some time "preening” my beard. She gets upset if we don't start the day that way. I am able to hold her on her back in my hand. She is very trusting of me. She has bonded very strongly with me and I have recently started getting her out more and socializing her with other people. She is adapting very well.

She started saying "hello Alf" at about six months. She does the wolf whistle, says "OH Oh" and almost has “I love you” down. One of the things I am impressed with is that she is not a squawker. Just the normal sun up and sun down calls, but almost none during the rest of the day. She does spend a lot of time vocalizing, what I call her “practicing” I think she is trying out new words and sounds. It is hilarious to listen to.

If it sounds like I am smitten by this “bag of feathers” as I call her, you are right.
I would recommend a Hahn’s without hesitation. A whole lot of fun, loving Parrot in a small package.

Well so much for an impartial opinion.
