brand of bird seed

Hello Everyone. I posted this question under nutrition and have gotten no response. I have a macaw so I'll try this question here. I feed my macaw Higgins and Volkman's seed mix usually. I'm getting ready to place an order with Drs. Foster and Smith for pellets and toys and I was wondering if anyone uses their seed mix. It would be so convenient to not have to order seed separately at another web site. If anyone does use their seed mix, can you tell me if you've been happy with the quality of their mix and what kind of stuff do they put in the seed mix? Thanks so much!!!

I like Higgins Sunburst mix for my Macaws. It is clean and I don't have a problem with seed moths. They have a great mix called Fruit to Nuts that my boys love.

I feed a pellet diet, Zupreem for Macaws. My birds are healthier, their colors are brighter and they do not waste anywhere near as much. I switch several years ago when My birds decided to stop eating everything but sunflower seeds and my vet recommended the switch as well as a few breeders I know. I now only give seeds as a snack/treat.
