I don't have a macaw, but I think if you kept the divider out it would be just fine.

By the picture it looks plenty big enough, but it depends on how much time your Macaw will spend closed inside the cage. Mine are a little smaller but I very rarely close them in the doors stay open and they are free to climb about the cage. They usual only go inside for food and water and to sleep, otherwise they sit on top and play with there toys. But before you decide to leave them free all the time you need to teach them that the cage is their safe place and it is where they should stay when their humans are not around. The only time my Macaws get locked in their cages is when we are on vacation because my Miltary likes to torment my housesitter and if their are people over who are afraid because my Military loves to torment anyone he thinks he can.

seth, Please check out King Cages on your search engine as they are the best cages around and the strongest. you have to make sure that the Macaw can flap their wings and not hit the sides of the cage and that their tails stay far away from the bottom of the cage. Good Luck in finding a home for your one day macaw or whatever type of bird you end up with. You may even check out the SI male eclectus. I have one and they're great not to say that the B&G are not. If it's a large Macaw you want, you may want to research the Green Winged macaw. I just purchased an eleven week old Green Winged named Neleno. Thanks JJones1719

Oh yes. I believe that's the double cage. It will work great. Your bird will love it

I have a 64 x 34 x 72 cage too and it's huge! Papaya looks like a little mouse in a 20 gallon fish tank being he's only 2 months old.

Seth, the one you posted looks like a great choice.
