Talking I Couldn't Help It! She Has Control of Me!

Yes I was down in my garage the other day justa tinkerin around about the 'ol Camaro and next thing I hear is "SQUAWK!!!!!" all the way from the house, and my garage is about 80 feet from the house. I figured since all I was doing was tinkerin and not using any power tools or chemicals, it would be OK for Hannah to be out there with me.

She loves it out there with me!!!!!!

She doesn't fly yet I am waiting for her first moult to finish so that she may have a chance to fledge, she has some flight feathers coming in but she stills flies like a brick. She is 11 months old and I have had her for two and a half months now. She's my baby, in fact my wife is getting jealous cause of all the time I spend with my bird.

Glad you like my stand, it is made out of wooden electrical spool, closet doweling, and a barstool, only costed $5, made one for my wifes CAG too, and I gotta make more cause I hate having to move this one around all the time...........LMB

PS: why is your bird in a towel?

Love the stand too, and the car, I have a 1980 Red T top corvette, on to the bird.. You need to be concerned with fumes, solvents, cleaners lingering in the air, anything like this. Can the bird reach for electricial cords?, things like this too. If not, I dont see why not, they are like a small child, everything is a play toy. I would open the doors, let it air out and try it.

Your bird will be fine as long as your cautious about fumes - My birds are everywhere they can be to be with us. What was your concern about power tools? Noise? LOL, your baby will learn to be louder than those power tools one day, lol.

Louder than a power tool? Heh Heh she IS a power tool. I watch her very closely, My concern about power tools is her getting hurt from flying debris, I figure since us humans need to wear safety equipment cause of danger then it's dangerous for the birds as well. But the loud sudden loud noises doesn't even phase Hannah at all, nothing is louder than a Macaw, if they can make a loud noise then they can take it too............LMB

PS: I do got to get a harness though, I really have to hang on tight to her on the walk down to the garage.

I know how it is with the Wife getting Jelous, mine is the same way. Lucky was in a towell because he is a big baby, I was washing my back yard and gave him a bath, and then I had to dry him off, with the towell. Just like a baby.
I am looking around for Barstools myself so I can do a stand like you have.
The only thing I would recomend you to do is give her a toy so she stays busy while you're busy.
I go to Dollar stores in NJ and buy Dog toys, those cotton ropes with a ball a the end, My Lucky adores them, he breaks the tennis ball up, and then starts to take the twisted rope apart.
