crop questions on blue and gold

just have a question, i notice that sometimes skyes crop is hard and sometimes is squishy, i tease her and go "blues" got food in her tummy, and will lightly touch her crop. today i noticed it was hard, i know she has eaten some of my food today, some bun from mcdonalds, soem chicken from pizza hut from the other day, some french fries, some banana, breadsticks, im sure she has eaten her food too which is rainbow exact. i have been working at home 2 cs jobs so im on the phone and computer all day and half the night ugh! so i didnt pay a whole lot of attention to when her and sunny go their cage cuz they have been back and forth with me the whole day.

now i was lightly touching her crop today, and something felt like it popped? like you know if you touch a blister sometimes and it pops, though i didnt squeeze anything i was touching touching her crop cuz it felt strange like boney or something.

just wondering if anyone knows what this is? havent noticed antyhing strange or different with her, shes eating pooping blahblahblah. do they digest wood pieces? they have wood toys?

thanks!

I know you can feel what Chief's been eating just by touching her crop. You can feel little chunks when she's been in her cage (which means she's been eating pellets) and its more squishy after she's been on her stand (which normally means shes eating fruits and veggies). I don't know about the popping feeling though; maybe it was just something moving around. I'm pretty sure that if the crop was damaged, you'd be able to notice pretty quickly, she definitely wouldn't still be eating...

Her breathing would probably be really labored too if there was a crop problem.
