Please visit google under macaw diseases or sucken eye syndrome, this is like a sinus infection, so please take your Macaw to a Vet ASAP. Your bird seems to have an infection of some sort. Hope everything works out okay. JJones1719

Here is more info on this disease,Chronic sinus infections are seen in association with bacterial infections. Why macaws are so predisposed to this is not known, yet raising the environmental humidity and the use of a air filter may help minimize the problem.
Sinus infections in macaws may result in a sunken eye syndrome where the eye sinks into the socket. Hope this helps, please keep us posted. JJones1719
