my sunny too, i got him at 9 months he didnt know how to step up. he is gonna be 5 in oct, and i can only hold him at night on my bed laying down on the pillow. he is getting better though. the other day he surprised me, i was tlaking to him by his cage and he climbed up on my shoulder. he is now taking food off a spoon from me. at the vet he let me hold him but still made those loud screams that he is scared.

it makes you wonder what was done to them in their former homes. sunny was in a petstore.

Lucky had at least 3 previous owners before me, I know his last owner really neglected him.
He used to be locked inside his cage all day, with no toys, at all!!
Can you believe that??
I know that he didn't even have his water changed once a day.
But now his life is 1000% better,
The only time his cage is closed is at night when he is slepping.
During the Day he is playing on top of cage, and when I get home he goes outside to his Plum tree where I have placed toys for him.
He is finally coming around, to letting me pet his head but not all the time,
only when he wants to.
The one thing I have found out is that he usually becomes very docile after I wrap him up with the towel.
