I have an important question...

Hello. I pray you are all in good health.
I need to know if "FUMELESS" oven cleaner is safe for my B&G. His cage is located on the opposite side of the house.. but you can see him straight through the kitchen.. NO CLOSED DOORS. Do I need to bring him outside??. and if so.. for how long would you think??

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Haniyya.

Salam (Peace).

fumeless or not it is still toxic to your bird would not trust any of those products . do you have a screened lanai ? I would put him out there for a few hrs and wait untill there is no odor or smell whatsoever . if you dont then move his cage to your porch or something untill all odor is gone . good luck .

I agree. Those products scare me. But baking soda and water works very well!

If I had to use something other that baking soda and water, I would have to start early in the morning and move the birds out, and make sure all is clear, wait all day if i had to.

I too, use baking soda, water, and elbow grease. Fumeless does not mean toxinless.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to answer my question. I will MOST DEFINITELY make sure to put him outside for the majority of the day. I appreciate your advice.

Take care & GOD bless.
Haniyya.

No. No chemicals to clean the oven with the bird in the home. SAfety sake, take him outside for the day or board him if you wish to clean the oven.

OR get a steamer where you can steam clean the oven. I have one and it works great.
