Smile macaw aviary

im building an aviary for a macaw but im not sure what kind of of mesh to use or what size aviary would be best and if it needs a roof or not. Does anyone have a macaw aviary ? maybe you could give me some tips.

What kind of macaw do you wanna build an aviary for ? A mini or large one ?

I've just ordered an 79''x79''x79'' indoor aviary for my future Scarlet

Here is a thread I started a while back about a cage that I made, I haven't used it yet right now I am cleaning it up and doing some changes to it-

I am thinking of using this cage for Aviary

Most folks liked it.

A friend of mine is using a double dog kennel, (the macaw does not chew on wire.) with a roof attached.

I've bought it here in France. I don't think that it could be interesting for you because of the shipping costs but if anybody wanna get the seller's number no problem, just PM me (Maybe are there other french people here ? )

No problem, I'll post some pictures as soon as possible

This is what I'm going to do for mine. Just have to find a safe material to cover with. I've contacted Discovery Cove to see how they enclose theirs in the aviary they have.
