I have posted only a couple of times on this site. I read it all the time though. Alot of good advice and info. I am sending this along just as a thought. I have had many animals over the years and the most at one time was 38. I must admit I do have a way with animals and always have. I just wanted to share with everyone how I have been socializing my Female B & G Tiki. I got TIKI when she was 3 months old. She is now going on 14 months. We have a Tavern and when we are not busy Tiki will come down with me. She will sit on the brass rails or on a customer for a few. Our regulars love her. She will go to just about everyone. She will lean forward for kisses. She has never drawn blood or bitten hard. I take her outside weather permitting. If I am out on the patio, or out in the parking lot weeding etc she is there. She perches on a boulder by our main sign or on the wood handles of the wheelbarrow. So many customers say I got lucky with her because she is so loving and and loves the attention of many different people. I take her into town as well in my truck and she rides in the center of the front seat. I just put it up to her getting used to our surroundings etc. She is not a screamer either

I know it is not possible for everyone to socialize their bird like I have. But the more you get them used to the better they will be. I do spend 2 to 3 hours a day with her as well, just quiet petting and cuddling, and talking time. She literally is my side kick now :) I will get some pics on here for everyone as soon as I can get hubby to clear his pic card on his camera.
