I love Bird Cages 4 Less - Bird Cages, Aviaries - Free Shipping. Have bought several cages from them and they're great. They have toys, food, etc too at good prices, and free shipping over $50.

I got my new cage from them (BirdCages4Less)... my verdict is still out. I need to call them back tomorrow morning (they all left an hour early today... no clue why, was not told).

sometimes pet stores in your area will have some nice cages, and its always better getting something close buy rather than shipping. my petcetra and petsmart have real good ones. i dont know if yours do.
cage by design are great cages! they reduce mess, are huge, come with alot of perches, have a background poster, and are over $2000. if you have that kind of money, thats what i would do.

Yes... bird fairs are the way to go... unless you happen to be typing while a fid is hanging upside down from the chandelier and you need one sooner. Where I live, we have only one a year. But I did get this cage : Mahalo ManorTM Playtop40" X 30" X 75"**Free Shipping!**: BIRDCAGES4LESS.com
for less than $250 a few years ago there!

I'll probably do that the next time too. Bird Fair. I ordered my cage on line and when it arrived it was smaller than a thought and a little on the chincy side. It's ample size for Elliot but I was a little disappointed in the quality.

When I moved Elliot into the other room with Newt, the casters actually bent and I have to replace them now.

If I order on-line again, it would probably be from King's Cages. That's what Newt has and it is virtually indestructable.

Hello everyone, I am currently waiting for my baby GW to complete their weaning process. I asked my Breeder what type of cages are best for the Macaw. My Breeder advised that King cages are the best and to stay away from cheaper cages due to these types of cages being made in China. China cages are not made from Bird safe paints of finishes. The metals they use can be easy for the Macaw to snap and then you are stuck with buying another cage. I beleive you get what you pay for. Please take the time to reseach where your feathered friend will be staying and how you would feel if they get sick from using a China made cage. Just my opinion. Please let us know on what you deside, what type of cage you get and who made it, prices would be great too. Thanks JJones1719
