paulina and trouble

Me and my mom just got a blue and gold about two weeks ago her name is paulina. but we were also getting a gw from the same breeder. the gw's name is trouble and we just got him. paulina is my moms bird and trounle is mine. but what gets me is that some times the will be behaving then all of a sudden paulina will start to grap at him. its not like she is lunging at him or anything. is this normal or could it be that paulina is a girl and he is a boy. thanks

Did they grow up together? how old are they?
Maybe Paulina is showing trouble that she is the " Alpha bird!" she was "home" first after all

Am sure they will learn to get along. Just keep an eye on them and make sure they aren't hurting each other and you aren't seeing any blood anywhere.

Hey I went through that with my Grey CJ, he thought since he lived here two months longer than my B&G Hannah then he should be the dominant one, and they did grow up in same place, it was a little rough at first but now they accepted each other, not that they like it any, but the mutual acceptance is there...........LMB
