The New Guy in Town
Well, it was inevitable. Always knew it was gonna happen, 'cause someday, Kenobi would need a friend....
So we just added a Camelot Macaw to the flock. "Just", as in, he arrived last night. A yellow dominant, who looks much like Bowie. He's a nice boy, but hand shy. Thankfully, he doesn't bite! A BIG "Thank You!" To Many Feathers, who found this guy for us, and made sure he made it safely to our house from Louisiana :-). She has been watching him since he was a baby, and was amazed to find out his human was looking to rehome him. Here are his vitals: DOH: 03/11/07, making him almost a year and a half old. DNA'd male. UTD on his polyoma vaccine. He came into the world as "Bruno". His name was changed to "Rainbow". We have renamed him "Patrick". He's a good boy with a huge appetite (he's somewhat thin, so I think he's making up for lost time *grins*). He will adjust well to our house, I think, having previously owned a dog breeder, so he's used to dogs and noise. He is in quarantine for now, but his appetite is healthy, his eyes and nares are clear, and his poops look good, so hopefully we've got a healthy, happy guy, here. He is already aware of the rest of the Goons, and they are aware of him, as everyone has been calling back and forth to each other. What? You want PHOTOS, you say? OK, you asked for it. Here are some from last night and this morning. I hope you like them :-). Still in his crate. What beautiful colors, I love that orange! He's got an awfully cute face too.

Another beautiful baby. Congrats. I gotta ask you a question, I couldnt help but notice your wedding band. In a blurred way it looks alot like mine and my husbands wedding bands. Are they Irish wedding bands? Celtic "Love Knot." Just curious.
