Need advice with Macaw that has broken leg

I am new here and would like some advice on a Macaw that has a broken leg. It is 2 month today and I would like to know how long it may take for a bone to heal on a Macaw?
I do not feel secure with my bird vet right now,

Thank you,

He is only 2 months old, or you have had him for 2 months?

How did it happen?

here you go! It seems like you shouldn't have to worry. Did the cast it?

it depends on how bad the break is. is he in a cast? their bones heal faster than ours. as long as he's not being rough on it and is letting it heal he should be fine. since you said your not sure about your vet is there any way you could get another opinion somewhere else?
