This thread has been a little slow so I thought it would be good time for all of us to post a few macaw pictures! Here is a picture of our male Buffon's. "Barnie".
Barney is a big bird now 1550g, very sweet and gentle.

What a beautiful bird. I've never seen a Buffon's in person. I did recently get to hold a Hyacinth/Buffon's Macaw. He was so sweet, such a big baby. He only had one red feather on his head.

Where did you see the HY/Buffy cross? I would love to see one, any pictures?

I know they look a bit plucked but they have improved a lot since I got them in September. This is their "EAGLE" pose...lol

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera in the car. Of all days to do that. We were at a pet expo last weekend. I also got to hold my other "dream" Macaw ( a GW). I think I saw a post somewhere around here that had a pic of a Hy/Buffon. Either way, the owner belongs to a bird group that is local to me. I was thinking about joining, if I do...I'll try to get a pic.

I finally got off my butt and threw a few pics of Tango up yesterday before heading off to work. They are a few weeks old as the swing is pretty chewed up at this point :eusa_clap I also put one of Tango and me up in the Members section..... I'd be the fat one in the picture LOL.
