Ringworm?

Last friday my Hahns macaw Cairo started biting the feathers on his chest. At this point he is a gray fuzzball. His CBC came up negative and the vet said he looked fine (that was the sunday morning after he started).
Anyways both of my roomates have started presenting signs of ringworm (possibly from the new kitten, Zoey). I don't have any lesions yet, but who knows. Anyways I wanted to know if this could possibly be causing Cairo's feather mutilation and if so what would be the best way of treating it.

From what I have read they can get ringworm, it is caused by this bacterial agent: Ringworm:Microsporum, Tricophyton.

You may want to see your avain vet, as I don't think the normal treatment of iodine would be good for a bird. If I remember correctly GSE kills this virus when you clean with it.
