Adopting a B&G

Well we finally found a perfect fit for our family. We're adopting a B&G and should have him in approx. 3 weeks. He's 16 years old. His current family is moving and can't take him with them. He likes men (good for me) and is ok with women and well behaved kids. We went to see him over the weekend and got to spend some time playing with him. He was well behaved, esp. when the current "parent" stepped out of view. He does have a preference that you use your right hand to scratch and rub him. If you use your left he let's out a screech. He does like to snuggle against your chest. Overall, he seems to be a well adjusted boy. The current "parent" said I was his first choice for adopting as he felt comfortable with my interaction with him.

3 weeks is going to seem sooo long.....

apparently someone used bad judgement with their left when they had him before you and maybe even the current parent.
