What kind of macaw was Piper? How old was she? Do you have other fids?

She was just the biggest baby you'll will ever know she love to to be hugged and kiss and just learning how to stay momma she was a 10 month old but very still a baby we have had problems with her for about 3 1/2 to 4 months and no one knew what was wrong with her and by the time I took her to the specialist it was to late I don't understand why my doctor didn't tell us like well I don't know what it is causing it I think you need to like take her to dr hoppes but he didn't so I don't know if she just wasn't strong enough for the surgery or not they cut the mass out but it was either closet to the spling or not shoot I can't spell I sorry I just don't know I saw her in a pet store and she look so bad and so lonely and my husband bought her for me for my b-day and she was so happy and then she kept losesing weight and then would gain it back or get slow crop but no one could tell us what was going on

In that picture in your profile she was 10 months old?? She does look VERY sweet. You can't keep sitting there and beat yourself up. I know what your thinking " coulda woulda shoulda" I've been there You did all the right things !!

What did the doctor keep telling you to do?? and what finally made him refer you to a specialist? How many babies did the pet store have when you bought her?
