Look who turned one today!
My little Davey is celebrating his hatch day today. He got a bowl of extra special treats but I'll be out most of the day so the real celebration will take place tomorrow. (As you can see in the pictures he feathers are a little on the rough side. He is a heavy duty preener. I am hoping when he molts his next set of feathers will hold up better to his preening or he will not be so rough on them. I hear this isn't unheard of with young Hahns Macaws. The vet didn't seem overly concerned.)
