How exciting! Maybe this will be the start of some really good luck with birds -- you have had a really sad stretch lately. I know everything goes in cycles, but I just hate bad news. Must confess I have lost the count now -- you still have Prinny, I am sure....who else is in the flock?

I have also read that you are opposed to breading but you are buying from a breeder kind of hypocritical dont you think. |

Guess you didn't read my post huh?
I was forced to rehome my other Red front macaw (YES I kept one before) but he and my other ended up enjoying their new home. Would you rip a parrot you had to do this to out of a life he is enjoying to be selfish? No, I did what was best for HIM and not me...You have read older posts of mine, which is fine...but I have learned a lot these years keeping parrots. I am opposed to factory breeding of parrots...the ones who stuff them into cages and expect them to lay every few months. If there was a red front macaw who needed a home (and believe me I LOOKED) I would take a rehome instead. Of course I don't have time for a GW AND a RF! I have plenty of time for one macaw...sheesh... Basically what I am saying is don't make assumptions about people who post on a forum. |
