Meet Beasley the Red Front :D

Ok so here goes the story for those of you I haven't told...I went and visited with Bailey and Zoey (the red front and illigers) last weekend. They are fine and have grown deeply attached to my friend. I couldn't bear the thought of forcing to come back home with me so I just said that she can keep them for as long as she wants but they come back to me when she can no longer care for them.

However, I am in a perfect place to have a macaw in my home and I miss having a little red front around so I went looking and found little Beasley. His breeder and I have spoken over and over and he should be coming home within the next two weeks

Here is a video of him on Youtube:

And here are some pics of my handsom Beasy:

So what do you all think?

I think that baby formula all over him gives him great character. He is really cute. I know he is not in the mini family, but I love the little Macaws, they are so sweet. (Except for the Severes, they are more like midget Scarlets, onerey little green critters, its a joy to be owned by one though... some days. LOL) Congrats on the new baby. Is the Greenwing a baby too?

Yep the GW is for sale as well. The two of them are buddies but I don't have the room/time/money for a bird that big

They are both amazing birds. Congratulations. It must have been hard coming to the conclusion that uprooting the other birds wasn't in their best interest. I hope you and Beasley have a long, happy life together.

It was so hard to tell her she could have my babies! Been sitting here for months missing Bailey's little green face...but they both are happy and that is what matters most.

I talked to my neighbors at length, as I thought that I would never be able to have bigger bird here. Well they have an Umbie Too! I didn't even know this They are our only neighbors, as we live on a corner lot...and they are fine with me bringing a RF home, in fact they want to meet him

Needless to say I am excited
