Careful what you ask for.
Eating and pooing is something your bird must do all day long.
If you try to train your bird to just go on command or just go when the time is right for you and not right for him, that is placing what may be a high level of stress on your bird. You may be able to train him to poo when you want him to, but you may turn him into a feather plucker in the process. I would suggest you try a couple of simpler tricks that have nothing to do with bodily functions. If you are successful at those, like playing fetch with a wadded up tissue paper, than maybe try a more advanced trick like poo training. Remember you are trying to make friends with your bird. Do things that are fun together.
