I was curious about how you all go about sanitizing tree limbs that you are going to use as perches. any ideas?

put them in a 350 degree oven for 1/2 hr.

I mix up a bottle of GSE and water and spray them down really good. Never tried putting them in the oven. Kinda Hard to put one thats 6 ft in there.

You just need a bigger oven!!

Maybe the local pizza place will cook those big ones.

the other week we had the 2 big beaks into the vets to get chipped. I told the vet about Jasper the lasagna freak and asked if it was ok for him to have. the vet told me that well, the pasta is made of wheat and the sauce is tomatoes a fruit. he said its not bad for him when you consider it like that. but he DID look Jasper in the eye and tell him not to expect it for a daily meal!
