Gabe's new toy

I ordered a box full of toys and parts not long ago. Here is a pic I just took of Gabe playing with his favorite toy from the box. He choose it over everything else in the box.

Don't you threaten me like that LOL. Captain does that to me too... it hurts doesn't it? Those beaks are so accurate. Captain can grab the finest strand of hair along my faceline and pull it straight out. Hurts... then after I pull away, she looks at me and says "Stop it, Don't do that." They know exactly what they are doing.

Uhm, I would like to volunteer my doorstep if he ever needs one! LOL.

Seriously though...that is one gorgeous bird. I do know how you feel about the toys vs the "not meant to be toys". Some days I wonder why I even bother... a cardboard box, a roll of paper towel, or a newspaper seems to be all my birds need to stay happy. LOL.

I remember my parents telling stories about us doing the same thing on Christmas morning.

I have spent a fortune on toys that sit unused. It is anybody's guess what they will like, for how long, and why. They never cease to amaze me with what they take to and what they ignore. The one thing that never goes out of favor is remote controls and computer keyboards. That seems to be a universal favorite.
