Gir- Our Sun Conure. Well, we decided on the name before we picked him up from the breeder. He turned out to be exactly like him! He's extremely goofy and mimics my laugh. Watching him play with his toys, eat is food, everything he does, ends up being a riot!
Gaz- Our Severe Macaw. When I picked her up from this lady I found off of Craigslist, I was in heaven. I approached the door and I saw this 7 month old baby just sitting in her cage with only a perch and 1 toy- food & water too. But immediately I knew we were going to spoil her! She had the named "Baby" when I picked her up and decided on the character "Gaz." We still call her "Baby" "Baby Gaz" "Gazmondo" "Football bird" (don't ask) all the little nicknames you can think of, for some reason I call her angel pants and she loves it. She's become so attached to my husband and I and is beginning to talk. She's almost like a cat though. Very independent at times and then wants her attention, and extremely curious. She brings so much joy into our lives that we really could not imagine not having her here.
Zim- Our little Green Parakeet. She (the character is a he) is nuts! She escaped through a cage bar that I had discovered later was broken at one end, and she would squeeze through! She's always been extremely edgy and quick to move. Definitely one of the best personalities I've seen in a little parakeet.
Keef- Our little Blue Parakeet. He was bought a while after Skoodge had passed away. Zim had a problem before with Skoodge, they'd fight every now and then, but since Keef has been her life... everything has been amazing. All they do is do that "sweet talk" that parakeets do, and preen! Preen constantly! He has an amazing love for toys, it's almost unreal. Keef brings a smile to both of our faces, and certainly has brought a smile to Zim:)
***UPDATE***
Chili- Our Lilac Crowned Amazon. I'm not sure why they named him this, but we picked him up from a local Animal Hospital! He's been a nutty addition to our family:) My husband fell in love with him when we were there and I fell in love with another bird. We ended up taking Chili home, and he is now being tamed by us! He doesn't say much, but every now and then he goes off! Today I heard him say "Hello" "Hi" "Oh Boy" and "Wooooaah" and then there was additional blabble. lol
Static- Our Nanday Conure. This was the bird I had fallen in love with at the Animal Hospital. We've only had him for 2 days at this point and he's a riot! All he wants is his head to be scratched. I'll put my finger against him so he'll step up and before I can get any closer to him, he'll put his head down and just keep it there so I can rub his little neck:) He too has surprised us with weird chatter and the "wolf whistle." He's a super sweet addition to our flock!

Right now, we have a Severe Macaw, Gaz. A Sun Conure, Gir. And then 2 parakeets... Zim and Keef. ** We also just added a Lilac Crowned Amazon and a Nanday Conure >.<
Well, we were looking to find an African Grey, since my husband and I have decided to not have kids, we will have birds for the rest of our lives! But I think we have enough little dudes for now- we'll see about getting the Grey in the future... perhaps when/if we move:)
