- Your Fids
- My fids are Tota, male Indian ringneck, hatched in 1995, Caillou, female timneh African grey, hatched in 1996, and Razz, female blue and gold macaw, hatched in 2000. Tota and Razz are completely flighted, Caillou somewhat as her flight feathers are growing in again. They have all been flighted at one point, and all been clipped at times too. I'm of the opinion that it's healthy for birds to fly in safe environments.
- About Yourself
- I'm a Dutch man living in Canada since 1977. I love to paint, my main focus being pet portraits. I also love to listen to music (sometimes while dancing wildly, sometimes with one or two of my fids perched on me), enjoy cooking, REALLY enjoy a good meal (vegan of course), putzing around in my backyard, and reading. I love a good party with interresting people. I also love most aspects of nature, I'm often in awe at it's beauty. I have two younger sisters and a younger brother. I have lived on farms here in Canada after immigrating with my family but I now live in the city with my partner Matt, two dogs, two cats, and of course, the birds.
