- Originally from Oberlin Ohio, and living in Milwaukee Wisconsin for 11 years. I relocated to Florida in 1988 with husband Daniel and three children Bill, Lisa & Matt. Years later we have added two daughter in laws, one son in law and four grandchildren...Katie, Tannor, Jessie and Tim.
My background is in Executive Management, Public Relations, Computer Technology, Web Site Design & Development, Graphic Art and Photo Journalism.
I attended Waukesha Technical College in Wisconsin where I majored in Computer Science & Programming although, never sought a career in the field until years later. My son Bill and I opened a computer business where I built custom computers and repaired them. I was the Executive Director of a United Way funded Community Organization in Milwaukee for a number of years prior to relocating to Florida. For a short time, I was the Executive Director of The Punta Gorda Business Alliance I retired from the field to become a Photo Journalist for The Charlotte Sun Herald and later a Freelance Photographer, Portrate, Wedding, Year Book, Football Programs and Publications.
In 1996, I became disabled with Fibromyalgia and Arthritis and severe depression but could not give up my love for photography and graphic art. Unable to work outside of the home, I began designing web sites, and, continued with photography by taking pictures of my grandchildren, Katie, Tannor, Jessie & Tim and enhancing them with professional graphics programming.
My photos have been featured in The International Library of Photography and published in a book; Endless Journeys.
