- I am divorced and moved to FL about 13 yrs ago. Most of my family was here at that time. I work in telelcommunications, and have a home based business for botanical skin care, cosmetics, nutrition and weight loss. I really love living in Florida.
I've always loved animals (pretty much since birth) - all kinds -its a lifestyle for me rather than a hobby. And once I "adopt" a new animal, for me it's learning, learning, learning. Actually, my first bird was a Robin that had fallen out of its nest and I nurtured back to health. I think I was about 6. When I was a kid, my mother used to cringe because she never knew what I was going to bring home. I grew up in WV by the river, so it was birds, rabbits, rats, cats, dogs - you name it... LOL
