- I have 4 birds...3 budgies - Snowman 5 1/2 yrs old, Sunny 4 1/2 yr and Scooter, 2 yrs old. Our newest addition this past February is a Pacific Parrotlet named Kiwi. She was 8 weeks old when I got her and she will turn a year on Christmas Eve. I'm fascinated by the beauty and intelligence of the birds and Kiwi is quite different from the parakeets.
