- I currently have 2 American Parakeets and one English Budgie. They all have such cute personalities. I love to just sit and watch them play. I just got my english budgie. She is so adorable. She has a much calmer nature than my other keets, but she talks much lounder than the others. I think both of my keets are males, but at the time we bought them they were too young to tell so their names are Shirley and Charlie. (my four year old named all my birds) My English Budgie is named Princess Marie.(hence my user name. I try not to play favorites but she has just bonded with me more than the others.
