egg bound budgie,skyler

well despite my best intentions,skyler passed away 30 min ago,she seemed to be doing well eating drinking,droppings,she did pass part of another egg last nite twin eggs? I don't know exhaustion,infection,so sad my poor little one

Thanks all,we buried her with her little egg,she was so good letting me work on her,I am not sorry I did it as she did not appear to be in any pain,as she was with the egg inside that was more difficult to watch,she had been perching,but when I came back to check her she was curled up in her pink blankie

I'm so sorry about your Skyler. I lost my tiel to egg binding, and also buried her other egg with her.

So, so very sad. I had a sweet little parakeet that also died from being egg bound. Sorry for your loss.
