Dear Sunkiss my beloved Sun Conure

My Dear Sunkiss, O how I miss you. I am so sorry that you have to go through all that pain and agony. I wish I was home, I wish I checked on you right away as I always do. I am sorry I was tired and sleepy that day, I wish I was there with you. I blame myself for not being responsible father, I blame myself for buying that toy for you. I miss you my son, I miss you so much. As I write this my tears wont stop falling down my cheek, thats because I love you. I am so sorry, please forgive. I woke up today like always to check up on you and play with you. Now you are not around, I feel an empty space, something is missing and thats you. I cry every time I play with your brother Sunny, I miss seeing you two play, I miss your kisses, your scream and your cuddles. O how I miss you. I wish I never bought that toy that killed you, I am sorry son, I didn't know. I miss you so much, I promise your brothers and sisters will have only safer toys, I promise to checkup on them even though I am too tired even for one day I will never stop the same routine. If only I have been there you could be alive today. I love you son, R.I.P. Love, daddy Jimmy

Thank you everyone for your support. I am still having a hard time letting him go. I am have been having a wake for him for a couple days now, I have him in a little wooden coffin. Not sure if I will bury him or cremate him yet. But for sure tonight would be his last wake. I will try to take picture of the altar and his coffin if anyone want to see him. Thanks Jimmy and Fids

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing one of my babies to such a random accident.
I don't want to stir up painful memories for you, but what toy caused Sunkiss' death? Maybe some measure of good can come out of this tragedy if other birds can be saved...I bet Sunkiss would like that.
Again, so sorry - your post brought tears to my eyes.

Oh No im so sorry for your loss, dont blame yourself, he would know you loved him and never meant him any harm.

As guineagirl said, which toy was it? So none of us have to suffer the unfortunate loss you had to go through, i should never read this stuff at work i look shocking now.
