In Respectful Memory of passed Members

Here on the net we are defined by the words we type and the lives we touch with these words, so it behooves us to choose well in what we say to each other because we are daily reminded in so many painful ways that tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone.
Many of us in our daily dealings with each other are nothing more than pixels on a page, blips on the screen connected in certain ways to form letters, which then become words that form pictures in the minds of others.
Some of us are more adept at painting these pictures than others, but there are those that are not as fleet of phrase but are still able to do so by their mere actions and in the kindnesses and gentle words of comfort they are so free to share at a moments notice be it solicited or not.
By their prescience they lift us up on those days that find us at the bottom and by their sacrifice they hold life up to the light for all to see that it was not - never has been - nor ever will be - for naught.
Every breath we take we take on loan, with every heartbeat we share we become stronger and with every tear we shed we do so in good company.
To have shared such an infinitesimal part of their lives, nothing more than a compassionate word for each other on the net, is enriching to those that know to find the treasure of such kindnesses freely given in friendship.
All the more devastating the loss when one harbors the feeling of not having returned it or of not having done enough, or too little too late.
All we can do is remember, remember the moments shared in laughter and in joy, remember the shoulder cried on and the smiles that came so effortlessly and the words of comfort as your world comes crumbling down around you only to be lifted not only in body and in mind but in spirit as well by a well placed kind word of solace.

To our Angels

Their bodies may be gone from this world but their memories and their kindnesses remain. The lives that they touched and helped shape and the future of young ones molded will be their legacy to us.
We should only feel sorrow in that we are the ones that remain behind and that they have gone to bigger and better things.
They were loved, admired, trusted, needed and desired and they forever will remain so in our hearts.

Immortality

Do not stand at my grave and weep...
I am not there...
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow...
I am the diamond glints of snow.
I am the sunlight on ripening grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star at night.
Do not stand at my grave
and cry...
I am not there...
I did not die.

When tomorrow starts without me

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not there to see;
If the sun should rise and
Find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn’t get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,

And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I’d have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.

I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for awhile,
I’d say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here, in your heart.

Norma Cornett Marek.

She will be terribly missed, she was loved and respected and too short on this Earth. As long as we remember her, alongside the others, she will live forever in our hearts and minds. It is our loss that we grieve for truly we are now less for her passing.
All my prayers and love to her family and loved ones.
