Thank you everyone. I kept waking up in the middle of the night thinking I heard Carnation and that she needed to be comforted. I miss her. A lot. There's definitely a void in my life, though my other birds are making it a little easier.

I'm not a religious person, but I can understand why someone would believe in the Rainbow Bridge at a time like this.....

So sorry for your loss. Carnation had the best 20 years on this planet that a bird could have with you as her mom. Take good care of yourself.
