That is a beautiful poem, and I am so sorry to hear about Greycee. She was very loved, and know you did all you could for her.

Hello everyone,
Mary and I can't thank you enough for your thoughts and prayers upon Greycee's passing. It means so much to us, because it comes from a community of people that understands the wonderful experience of sharing your lives with these extraordinary creatures, and the pain when one is taken away, especially one so young; Greycee would have been three in December.
Many of you have followed this thread and know the story of Greycee's illness; but I haven't talked much about Greycee herself. I wanted to do that as part of this thankyou, but I just have not had the time to compose my thoughts and write it; and I did not want to wait any longer to express our gratitude for all that you have done for us. To all of you who graciously offered your knowledge and experience, and to those who sent along prayers and hopes for her recovery; we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Paul

Sorry to hear

Paul & Mary,

I'm so sorry to hear about your Greycee; I lost my little Beak at the beginning of Sept, so I know how raw it feels. My heart goes out to you; this was my first feathered friend, and he constantly surprised me with his affection and constant companionship. I hope you continue to take birds into your home, your journey with Greycee conveys a real depth of feeling and love for these animals that is much needed.

Best in your time of grief,
Jacki
