I just got back in contact with an old friend and learned that her lovebird passed on last year. Pia had had health problems her whole life - splayed leg and a compulsive feather picker to the point that she damaged her skin. She finally succummed to a tumor on her head last year.
Pia was the first little parrot that I loved and made me want to go adopt my Zen.
Rest in peace, my dear friend Pia.
